Arctic Monkeys !

Arctic Monkeys es un cuarteto británico cuyo orígen es Sheffield, al norte de Inglaterra. Formados en el 2002, la bandaconsiste en Alex Turner como cantante y guitarrista, Jamie Cook como corista y guitarrista rítmico, Matt Helders como corista y baterista, y Nick O'Malley como bajista (ésta posición fue ocupada anteriormente por Andy Nicholson). 

Arctic Monkeys alcanzó el éxito con sus primeros dos sencillos, "I Bet You Look Good On the Dancefloor" y "When the Sun Goes Down", alcanzando el número uno en las carteleras británicas. Su álbum debut, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, se convirtió en el álbum debut de venta más rápida en el Reino Unido y recibió aclamadoras críticas, ganando así el 2006 Mercury Prize. El segundo álbum de la banda, Favourite Worst Nightmare, se espera será lanzado el 23 de Abril de 2007 y será precedido por el sencillo "Brianstorm".
